Palette/Palette Paper BookPalettes are available in most art stores however I prefer a paper book as after use the page is simply torn out and thrown away. A tile is also a good option as its easily cleaned.

Sketch pad, Water coloured pad,A sketch book is great to have on hand, however for paint studies the water colour book, pictured below and available at most Merca china stores is great as it absorbs the paint well and is good for a practice pre study of a finished painting.

Tuesday

10.30am – 13.00pm

This is a long running weekly group for those who have some experience and simply wish to advance their skills. Members are encouraged to bring along their projects in a medium of choice to work on during the session with guidance from Sara. If preferred Sara will demonstrate or set something specific for one, a few or all members of the group. All are asked to bring with them their own equipment (brushes, canvas, paint etc) and art project. Every once in a while, Sara will run a Masterclass for the whole group.

Thursday

10.30am – 13.00pm

This is a newly created group focusing more on beginners and those who want to have a guided class. Each week unless otherwise specified Sara will demonstrate techniques and skills. Members are encouraged to build up their own kit and equipment of basic brushes, palette, watercolour pad for practice studies, and canvas (es) of size and choice. (Please see below information on items and retail outlets to purchase). Sara will always have some equipment and extra paint on hand which members can use or purchase.
